Hello!

Nice to meet you!

I'm a human of many things and I wear many colours, online and in real life. Endlessly curious, I'm a sum of many great lessons and some I'm still yet to learn. I'm also a Product Designer, currently working and living in Milton Keynes, UK.

As a designer, I'm constantly learning and unlearning things. What worked yesterday, might not work today and need to figure out what will work tomorrow.

Why am I a Designer?!

I've asked myself that many times but the answer is always simple: I'm the kind of person who found my way into the world of design through sheer dedication and a deep love for the craft. Despite not having a traditional education in Design, and not even knowing initially how to become a designer, I pursued my passion relentlessly.

Although I hold degrees in Communication and Advertising as well as Photographic Arts, I found myself carving out my own unique path in the design world, blending the knowledge from both disciplines through a combination of luck and hard work.

This journey often meant sacrificing sleep and pouring countless hours into refining my skills, driven by moments of inspiration at odd hours. Looking back, I realise that design was always my true calling, guiding me even through the most unconventional routes to my career today.

Currently, I work as a Product Designer at Tappable, an agency with a vibrant atmosphere where my team and I share a passion for crafting exceptional digital experiences. From creating detailed user journeys and prototypes to designing web and mobile applications, my role allows me to indulge my passion for creating in the digital realm.

My love for design extends deeply into the digital sphere, where I find joy in leveraging tools like Adobe CC and Figma to bring my ideas to life, ie. my passion project Cosmic Pets.

As an avid internet user who finds both information and entertainment online, there's nothing quite like the satisfaction of creating outstanding digital products that enhance users' experiences in the digital landscape.

“I specialise in turning the barest of briefs into rich digital products, blending research, creativity and technology to bring concepts to life.”

How I Work

Every product is different and so are its users. Part of my design process is to start with discovering the users' needs but that's not all.

Step 1. Discovery

Every great project starts with a great and well-researched idea. Your industry, competitors, and your users, are all vital pieces to the scope of your project and to understand your target audience is often the first step to success. As an experience designer, discovering the audience I'm designing for is paramount to my work.

Step 2. Prototype

The research I do helps me understand where your users come from and where you're heading, as a company. Throwing ideas around - words, colours, fonts, shapes and metaphors help me visualise solutions. This is where I propose concepts that invite you - the client - to be a part of. Design is never one-sided.

Step 3. Design

After a visual direction and initial prototypes have been agreed and all or most details have been considered, it's time for me to go away and get to work. The visual designs I create are always born out of the information I've learned, from briefs, industry standards and any other research that might benefit the project.

Step 4. Iteration

Having worked in the industry for so long, I know it's very rare that a design gets approved straight away, even though that is always my goal. However, allowing space for the design to evolve, breathe and transform to reflect the needs of the project is crucial. As a designer, I'm always ready to go back to the drawing board.

Step 5. Launch

Having the design nailed down is great but launching the project is even better! Crossing this finish line often involves collaborating with a lot of people who are good at what they do. As a designer, my journey doesn't end here. So many assets, file sizes, bits and bobs are waiting to be prepared and finessed for the real deal, so I always make sure that my files are good and easy to work with.

Step 6. Support

Whether it's a web project, prototype, visual design or HTML handovers, supporting a client after a completed project, is part of the deal. To offer my help if something goes wrong or doesn't quite work as intended, is something I don't skimp on. Being there with advice and expertise (or the right plugin) means that little extra that makes a great project the best it can be.
